All About Janet:
After working for many years in the technical field for corporate America, I decided it
was time to make a change and follow my heart. I had spent the last few years of
the corporate world trying to do both: working part of the week in technology and
using my days off to create a business that fueled my passion. The day came
when a choice had to be made and I chose my dream. I had raised my family and
was in a place where I could make that change. Although it took a great leap of
faith and many changes in my personal life, I have never looked back with regret.
Since that time, I attended a seminary and became an ordained New Thought
Minister. New Thought is a blend of beliefs centering around Unity, Religious
Science and Divine Science. I have also taken many classes to expand my
knowledge and benefit the clients in my practice. I became a Certified Hypnotist
and have studied Chinese Shamanistic Medicine, Reiki, and many classes
focused on energy, health and our own power of manifestation.
I have been involved with metaphysics since the 70s and became much more
active in that area in the 80s. Because of a wonderful mentor, I discovered my
intuitive abilities and have used them to provide guidance to others concerning
many areas of their life.
I was an instructor and trainer in the corporate world and now continue to teach
classes focused on helping others develop their intuition and faith in their ability to
manifest as well as several other metaphysical topics. I have spoken at several
events and conferences.
An opportunity arrived to take over a lease on a building in east Mesa and the Light
Center was created. With several like-minded individuals, I have developed a
wellness center focused on creating a peaceful, safe and relaxed environment for
my clients. Because the universe provided such a perfect location, I am able to
offer my services at very reasonable rates.
My beliefs:
I believe in God and my work is driven by Spirit, trust and faith. I believe there are
many paths but we will all end up at the same destination. I believe love,
understanding and compassion for everyone is the answer to a happy life. I
believe everyone has the ability to manifest and create their perfect life when they
learn a few basic principles. I believe everyone has a "gift" of some kind that can
help others if they allow themselves to open to it with trust and faith. I believe all
human beings are wonderful but a few of us have just forgotten who we are and
what is really important when we get caught up in the stresses of everyday life.
And most of all, I believe everyone has the ability to return to that wonderful human
being we were when we first entered the world.
